Giving to support The Queen's School

Throughout its history The Queen's School has relied upon a variety of sources to fund its expenses and capital improvements. Direct Grants, Assisted Places, fees and support from the Foundation Bursary Fund have only ever provided just enough income to cover the costs of education.

Fees have always purposely been set low in order to make the school accessible, and major capital improvements and the purchase of land and buildings have therefore normally been funded by the generosity of benefactors.

The Foundation Bursary Fund offers financial assistance to talented girls whose families cannot afford the fees.

The Annual Fund supports the school's annual budget. This fund provides direct assistance to all girls in the school by paying for projects that fall just outside our ability to pay for them from fee income.

The Buildings Fund supports major improvements to the school's buildings and facilities. Making a gift to The Queen's School through any of these funds is simple and can have tax benefits for you and your family. Please proceed to the following pages to choose the impact you would like to make.

Our Campaigns

1m2 Campaign

We have exciting news! We have been granted planning application to build a multi-sports Astroturf pitch.

This impressive new facility will provide huge benefits for both our school and the local community and will encompass a full-size hockey pitch, a full-size lacrosse pitch, a 200m running track and will also be available for a range of other outdoor sports and training activities.

By donating to this project, we believe you will be making a real difference to pupils, both current and future, as well as the wider community.

150 for 150 Bursary Fund

At The Queen's School, we are committed to providing more opportunities for intellectually curious girls, whatever the financial position of their families, to benefit from a Queen's School education.

For lots of families with able and ambitious children, choosing a school like Queen's is simply not an option without the financial support of the bursary fund.

By donating to our bursary programme, you are helping a significant number of girls explore their full potential.

In Memoriam

Since the school's founding in 1878 the Queen's community has been committed to providing education for girls that not only prepares them for their future but also provides the wider community with individuals who have shaped and will shape the future for others.

Many alumni are grateful to particular members of staff for the part they played in their education, and donations to the Bursary Fund in memoriam are always gratefully received.
