During a recent reunion gathering, I couldn't help but notice the conversations that unfolded regarding bursaries and assisted places from the alumnae’s time here at The Queen's School. Many shared stories about the impact these opportunities had on their lives and others, both academically and personally.

Reflecting on these discussions, I realised the significance of hearing diverse perspectives on bursaries and assisted places and how they are still relatable even today.  Everyone has a unique journey shaped by these opportunities, perhaps as a recipient or maybe as a good friend and all experiences could serve as invaluable insights for others.

With that in mind, I'm reaching out to you to invite you to share your thoughts and experiences regarding bursaries and assisted places. Whether you were a recipient yourself or witnessed their effects on someone close to you, your perspective is valuable to us all.

Overall, I would love to find out how these bursaries were transformational and did actually impact your education and journey in life.  What were some of the challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them? What difference did it make for you and your friends?  Your stories can provide inspiration and guidance to those who are navigating or are about to navigate similar paths today.

By sharing our experiences, we can shed light on the importance of bursaries, not only for individual students but for entire communities and especially those who are ready to become part of The Queen's School family.  As always the collective wisdom of all members past and present of this family has the power to foster understanding and support for these initiatives, ensuring that future generations have access to the same opportunities that are still cherished today at The Queen's School.

Please get in touch with me to share your comments or anecdotes about bursaries and assisted places. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated and will help us continue to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all.  You may choose to remain anonymous with any contribution and that is absolutely fine too.

Thank you for considering this request, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
