2021 Reduced Alumni Reunion

They say 'fortune favours the bold' and those of us who were able to attend the 2021 Queen's Alumni Reunion were certainly very fortunate - not least with the weather which, having put our new gazebo to the ‘soak test’ in the morning, shone brightly on us in the afternoon. Just 15 of us gathered for this year's party, but it was wonderful to see how much the 1971 leavers enjoyed meeting up again. (For some it was 10 years since their last Queen's reunion, for others their first visit back since leaving school!) The buffet seemed all the more delicious for having been so hard-won, group photos were a breeze, and the virtual boardroom came into its own, facilitating a group zoom not only with absent friends, but a meeting between the A level Music students of 1971 and their beloved teacher. Save the date for next year's 'big do' - Saturday 2nd July 2022! |
